Since I have started working, I can't help but notice that the cost of education is increasing so rapidly that it's starting to get illogical to get formal education. Just to illustrate how expensive it is to study in University:
Fees for each subject
MMU (3 credit hours) = RM952.50
Monash University (Business course) = RM3,812.50
Conclusion: the course fees for all private institution is increasing rapidly. The problem? Salaries and wages are not increasing as rapidly. The effect? More people cannot afford private education.
Is education important? Yes, education is the most important thing that one should have. Even physical possessions is not as important as education. The only thing that I would deem more important than education would be daily needs like shelter and food
Having said so much about the importance of education, how much should one invest in education? Should you invest in education without restriction or should you invest in it sparingly? At the end of the day, what will you gain?
For more about investment in education, please refer to my next post. Running out of time to blog XD
