The time of the year has come again. Love is in the air, as usual. With Chap Goh Mei and Valentine's Day happening 2 weekends in a row, seems like every couple is going to be busy for this week. As for me? I'll be spending my time at home, doing nothing. I think that I already used to spend my time at home on Valentines anyway.
After the CNY celebrations at the end of January, Chap Goh Mei arrived. Popularly known as the Chinese version of Valentine's Day, it is usually less celebrated as it's 14th February counterpart. According to tradition, it is said that single women used to go to the river to throw Mandrin oranges. I don't really know the significance of this activity though. What I do know is, FREE ORANGES!! LOL... Just joking
As for Valentine's Day, all I can say is that roses are a must. No matter how you look at it, women just love to be given flowers on Valentine's. Although the price of each rose can go as high as Rm7-8 on Valentine's, it is always wise to spend some money on buying roses, the traditional red roses especially. What about presents? Presents are complimentary to the roses as gift. The present will of course depend on which stage of the relationship you are in
Now that it's 2 days before Valentine's, go get your stuff ready ASAP. Otherwise, there will not be anything left
